If you were to tell me a year ago that I would belong to a sisterhood, I would have thought you were lying. Growing up I never really understood what it meant to belong to a sorority or a sisterhood, and I never had the desire to find out. My perspective completely changed when my sweet bearded boyfriend Count vlAD became a Bearded Villain Supporter. Learning more and more about the ideas and values of this famous brotherhood of bearded men – such as charity work, support and respect – I knew I had to try out to be in a sisterhood. But I wanted to join a sisterhood dedicated to similar wonderful values as the the Bearded Villains. I wanted to make a difference! And then I found The Villainettes.
Who are the Villainettes?
The Villainettes a worldwide sisterhood. It was founded on 5th May 2015. The Villainettes is a stand alone group of badazz and classy women of all ages and walks of life who are all united in the belief we can do our part in the betterment of our community and the betterment of this world by leading by example.
We are mothers daughters, sisters, wives but, just as importantly, we are friends. ❤ We are fierce, fearless, keen and strong. We are sharp, and we are explosive. We embody family values with a feminine touch.
The essences of character that define The Villainettes: truth, honor, respect, family, loyalty, class. ?
It is an honor to be part of this worldwide family, the sisterhood The Villainettes. I started my journey on 5th September 2018 as a Villainette Supporter, which is a phase in which women are given the opportunity to show interest and dedication.
On October 4th 2018 I ranked up from Supporter to Prospect Hopeful. The Prospect Hopeful phase can been seen as some kind as “trial period”, to feel or you can give yourself 100% to the sisterhood. A phase in which I will be learning more about The Villainettes, their values and their organisation. And, of course, my sisters will get to know more about me and what I stand for.
Of course I hope that I can become a member some day. I would be over the moon to be a part of this wonderful group of strong, unique, beautiful and inspiring women. It will be a long but joyful destination to become a Villainette member, and it’s more than worth the effort.
What this sisterhood means to me?
This question is harder to answer than you may think. Sisterhood means something different to everyone. To me, The Villainettes sisterhood is more than just a group of girls. They are my friends, my family, my support system, and my life. Perhaps the best way to answer this question is to tell what being part of this wonderful sisterhood has taught me.
- Supportive and caring
Whether you are having just a bad day, are feeling down or just want to complain about the weather, your sisters will always be there for you, to listen to your story and comfort you. They believe in you when I don’t even believe in yourself. ❤
- Good advice
If you are wondering about what clothes to wear, how to manage your time, or just need a little inspiration about what to eat for dinner, your sisters are there to help you out and answer your questions.
Joining a sisterhood means meeting new people and getting to know each other during the journey. Your sisters become friends, and some will even become “family”.
- Making a difference
One woman can make a difference but together we can rock the world. True! We are stronger together, as a sisterhood, than we will ever be apart; we can raise awareness or start up a charity campaign to support a series of international causes.
I am so glad that I decided to tryout to be a part of The Villainettes sisterhood.
