A few months ago I had a(nother) awesome studio photo shooting with my nephew and photographer Cornel van der Ven aka Vandervenfotografie. We have worked together so often that I almost can’t count the number of times. Perhaps it’s because of we are family. But each one was memorable, including this latest photo shooting. We had a really great time and managed to work out a lovely (Neo-)Victorian Steampunk-ish setting.
And, while writing this blog post, I realized it has been a while since I did a photo shooting in this amazing duplex style. It combines the smooth elegance of the Victorian age with awesome refined, and sometimes a bit science-fiction-like, elements of the industrial steam age. Although I am no Steampunk-Expert, I really love to “borrow” some of those awesome details, like goggles with gear ornaments, once in a while.
Anyway, I am very happy to show the results. You can also find the pictures on my Facebook page.
